If I could give a zero, I would have. Ordered flowers online through our USAA members services for my grandmother's funeral. Found a beautiful display that she would have loved. Specifically paid the extra money for the "Exquisite" bouquet as it was described as "lavish and lush". Went to the funeral only to see the disappointing bouquet waiting for us. It was tiny and pitiful. Called my USAA member service to complain. I said I specifically ordered the larger display only to receive this tiny one instead. They apologized and asked how I would like to resolve the situation. I said well, the flowers are already here and the funeral is already started, so there is no time to fix the flowers. However, I feel that if the local florist was only going to give me the basic bouquet then I should be credited the difference in the cost of the upgrade that I paid for. She agreed that would be fair and said she was going to issue a credit for the upgrade I paid for. I returned to visiting and greeting the guest. Ten minutes after the phone call I notice that one of the employees came into the room and take my flowers. I thought "oh they must have told them I wasn't happy and they are fixing them." Time went on and no flowers ever came back. I asked one of the funeral home employees and they said that Jeffrey's Flowers came and said that since a credit was issued they wanted their flowers back. I was never issued a full refund, only a credit for the upgrade I had paid for. They actually came in and repossessed my flowers DURING my grandmother's funeral. I couldn't believe it. I call the flower service back and explained what the local florist had done. The agent at the flower service even called and spoke to someone at Jeffrey's and explained to them what had happened and that only a credit for the upgrade had been issued and asked if they could return the flowers. The person at this florist said absolutely not, under no circumstances would they return the flowers. Seeing how I had still paid for the flowers that they took, they then issued me a full refund and a huge apology for Jeffrey's Flowers being so awful. It was a very frustrating issue to deal with during a funeral. I understand that the end results will not always look like what is on the internet. But I have ordered and seen the end product and have always been pleased...until now. Jeffrey's was rude and I feel that they just tried to take advantage that this was an internet order that would never be seen by the person who ordered it. I took several photos of the flowers and sent them to her so she could see what she bought. We both were impressed with the quality and design. My parents were in the floral business a few years ago and my daughter and I know a little about flowers. We will definitely be using the services of Jeffrey's again.
My daughter looked online for a florist in the area to send flowers for my birthday and came across Jeffrey's Flowers by Design. She was behind in her timing and the representative worked with her as much as he/she could to get my flowers delivered on the date requested. As it turned out, she was just too late for a good delivery opportunity on the date requested, but the quality of flowers delivered the next day was worth the wait.
Rude and terrible customer service! Cancelled a wedding flower consult appointment I had for over a month because they were "too busy" for me. Don't worry, I'll take my money elsewhere! This wasn't the only bad experience I've had with them either! Good luck keeping customers when you act like that.
